The „Darbo nėra yra“ initiative invites you to talk about employment and career opportunities for ex-offenders in Lithuania. Getting a job is one of the most difficult but at the same time one of the most important tasks after leaving a correctional facility. We believe that not enough is being said about it.

Here you will earn about the advantages of hiring ex-offenders as well as businesses that hire people regardless of their criminal history.

The platform includes:

Methodology for specialists

A short guide for employers who want to work with ex-offenders

Network of ex-offenders-friendly businesses and organizations

Interviews with ex-offenders

The project aims to increase the employability of ex-offenders by providing tools and competences to employers, specialists in correctional facilities and youth workers.
The aim of this platform is to promote the recruitment of ex-offenders as well as to have more employers speak publicly about this. We want more ex-offenders to hear “there are jobs!”
