Capoeira Connects Europe aims to encourage young people to engage in an active lifestyle through capoeira. The project’s goal is to reduce the social exclusion of disadvantaged youth while promoting empathy and tolerance.
The project aims to involve underprivileged youth in capoeira activities, bring them closer to the community, and boost their confidence and self-esteem. The project also aims to teach youth workers about capoeira, its history, and the inclusive aspect. The promotion of capoeira as an inclusive activity is at the center of the project.
Capoeira Connects Europe is funded by Erasmus+ and is a collaboration between 5 partners: Association Active Youth (Lithuania), Capokids Capoeira (Latvia), Subjective Values Foundation (Hungary), Żejtun Local Council (Malta), and NGO Spordi- ja Kultuuriselt Capoeira Vadeia (Estonia).
