About the project
Every year millions of people in the EU become victims of crime, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence against women being some of them.
The scale of gender-based violence in the EU is alarming: 1 in 3 women (33 %) has experienced physical and sexual violence since she was 15 years old (WHO). During covid, the statistics got even worse as the reports of violence increased so much that it became the second most reported crime in Lithuania.
The project aims to provide knowledge on domestic violence against women & its forms to provide guidelines on how to recognize and speak about it if violence occurs.
