PROJECT OVERVIEW
V.O.I.C.E. is a transnational initiative aimed at addressing the root causes of the gender care gap and combating gender-based stereotypes through a gender-transformative approach. Spanning six countries (France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Lithuania, and the Netherlands), the project leverages the power of education, community engagement, and inclusive methodology to promote equal care responsibilities, especially among youth, educators, and families.
OBJECTIVES
- Tackle the root causes of the gender care gap.
- Promote a gender-transformative approach in education and care.
- Challenge gender stereotypes at all levels of society.
- Develop and promote inclusive, community-based models for change.
- Empower children, young people, educators, parents, and professionals to become agents of gender equality.
HOW DO WE ACHIEVE IT
- Participatory development of educational tools and training materials tailored to different age groups (6–25 years old).
- Delivery of trainings for educators, youth workers, and parents on gender awareness and critical thinking.
- Implementation of local community actions co-created with target groups to promote equal caregiving models.
- Development of a European Toolkit and community model, supported by cross-national collaboration.
- Ensuring ethical standards and child safeguarding in all interactions and educational environments.

- Increased awareness and critical understanding of gender stereotypes among youth and families.
- A European toolkit and model for gender-transformative education and community practice.
- Strengthened capacities of educators, youth workers, and community actors.
