PROJECT OVERVIEW
GameChangers empowers young people—especially volunteers and amateur athletes—by equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities to explore social entrepreneurship through sport. The project positions sport as a driver of social change, combining leadership development, volunteering, and innovation to promote inclusion and active citizenship.
In parallel, it strengthens the capacity of youth sports organizations to foster entrepreneurial initiatives and generate social impact in their communities.
OBJECTIVES
- Promote social entrepreneurship and leadership among young people through sport-based learning.
- Equip youth with practical tools to develop social enterprise ideas rooted in inclusion and sustainability.
- Support youth sports organizations in acting as catalysts for local impact and community change.
HOW DO WE ACHIEVE IT
- Design and implementation of 10 educational modules on social innovation and leadership.
- Development of a gamified digital learning platform tailored for young athletes and volunteers.
- Creation of a hands-on manual combining entrepreneurship and volunteering practices.
- National-level competitions to generate and showcase social enterprise ideas.
- Mentoring and coaching sessions supported by peer evaluation formats.
- Public engagement through teaser workshops, local events, and an international conference.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE
- Finalized 10 learning modules focused on youth leadership and social entrepreneurship.
- Created a practical manual to guide young athletes and volunteers on their entrepreneurial journey.
