Erasmus+ joint staff training event “Hi-Tech Youth Work” took place in Kaunas, Lithuania on July 19-24, 2017. It’s a part of the wider KA2 strategic partnership of the same name. Project’s mission was to grow digital communication professionals, who could effectively communicate with youth and help NGOs be more visible in the EU.
Objectives
The project had the following objectives:
- increase the ICT abilities of the involved youth workers;
- create a field of sharing competences and tools, validated by youth organizations working in different countries;
- promote the concept of effective digital communication amongst youth workers and young people in Europe as well as the general public.
Training’s Participants
13 youth workers coming from 4 different countries (Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Italy) took part. They were youth workers, volunteers or young leaders in the partner organizations. This allowed for sharing of the best practices (usage of ICT tools in daily NGO work).
