PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project (project number: 2022-2-IT03-KA220-YOU-000095288), in alignment with the European Democracy Action Plan and the EU Citizenship Report 2020, aims to empower youth by promoting their active involvement in democratic processes and policymaking. It focuses on addressing disinformation, fostering gender equality, and bridging gaps in democratic engagement across EU countries. Through a series of transnational events, young people will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and realize the importance of their role in shaping European democracy.
OBJECTIVES
  • Empower young people to participate actively in policymaking and European democratic life.
  • Combat disinformation and enhance public awareness on critical topics impacting the future of Europe.
  • Foster youth dialogue and engagement with European democracy, particularly leading up to the 2024 European elections.
  • Develop a framework for bottom-up recommendations to influence EU policies, driven by youth perspectives.
