AIM
The main aim of the project is to actively involve and empower youth in European democratic life, emphasizing their participation in policymaking processes.
SHORT DESCRIPTION
This project, aligned with the European Democracy Action Plan and EU Citizenship Report 2020, focuses on enhancing the role of youth in European democracy. It emphasizes their direct involvement and empowerment in policymaking and democratic processes. The project aims to counter disinformation, promote gender equality, and bridge democratic participation gaps across EU countries. With a series of 7 transnational events, it offers young people opportunities to discuss, exchange views, and understand the importance of active participation in public policy. The project also integrates insights from the Conference on the Future of Europe, focusing on informing and raising awareness about challenges like the pandemic, digitalization, and disinformation. Its objectives include promoting the 2024 European elections and encouraging youth dialogue on European democracy.
