Organizations from five European countries joined forces into one project team and launched the “INFOGRAFIA” project. The project will run for 24 months and is focused on entrepreneurial competences of young people. Over the next two years, the project team will develop and pilot a completely new type of entrepreneurship training by providing a full suite of innovative interactive infographics.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, an infographic (or information graphic) is “a visual representation of information or data”. An infographic can also be defined as a collection of imagery, charts, graphical elements and minimal text that gives an easy-to-understand overview of a topic. When you need to give someone a really quick rundown on something that can be hard to explain in words alone, an infographic is a good way to go.

However, the “INFOGRAFIA” project team decided to go much deeper. They will create an infographic learning tool. They will use QR codes as a part of their infographics, which will be directly combined with innovative learning tools. While viewing their infographics, you can download the QR code to your mobile phone and discover new learning content. For example, you find yourself in a digital escape room or discover an educational video or learning tool called “WebQuest”. Young people love fun learning based on various challenges. It is much more interesting to learn by watching videos or overcoming intellectual challenges than studying books. Interactive infographics are, therefore, a great innovative educational tool for young people.

The project is jointly implemented by organizations from 5 countries, namely Ireland, the Czech Republic, Greece, Germany, and Lithuania. The project team will develop 15 interactive infographics, a training programme for youth workers and an open online learning portal.

Participating organisations

Active Youth (Lithuania),  AKLUB (Czech Republic), FIPL (Ireland), K.A.NE.  (Greece), Jubuk  (Germany)

Stay tuned to see the results! 💛
